GMax Data Centers
The World’s First Offshore, Self-Powered, Tidal-Integrated Compute Platform.
GMax Data Centers redefine what digital infrastructure can be. Built directly into our modular GMax Vessels and deployed 3–12 miles offshore, each data center module is powered by a combination of continuous tidal baseload energy and our groundbreaking Hydro Integrated Peak Power (HIPP) storage system — enabling true 24/7 self powered operation with no reliance on land based grids.
This architecture creates the world’s first sovereign grade offshore clean energy powered compute network, capable of scaling from single vessel deployments to full multi vessel campuses across the East Coast in less than 3 years, upon launch day.
Powered by the Ocean. Stabilized by HIPP.
The GMax Hydro Integrated Peak Power (HIPP) System
The HIPP System is GMax’s proprietary, non chemical, mechanically driven clean power storage technology. It is engineered specifically for the demanding, high density power profiles of modern data centers.
How HIPP Works
- A pressurized mechanical apparatusstores and releases energy without lithium, chemicals, or thermal degradation.
- It delivers instantaneous peak powerat a perfectly even, consistent rate — essential for GPU dense compute loads.
- It integrates directly with the 3 MW continuous tidal baseloadproduced by each GMax Vessel.
- It enables each data center to operate as a fully independent, self powered unit— no grid dependency, no single point of failure.
Why It Matters
- 24/7 peak power availabilityfor AI, HPC, and hyperscale workloads
- Zero chemical storageimproves safety, lifespan, and environmental performance
- No intermittency— unlike solar or wind storage systems
- Lower CAPEX + OPEXthrough mechanical longevity and optional energy sales
- Emergency peak power capabilityfor mission critical or defense aligned applications
Inquire about GMax mechanical clean energy “HIPP” storage approved by NJT engineers for utility scale Micro-Grid output “GMax HIPP Application” report.
Note: NJT Pre-Bid documents specifically required 17 mega-watts “per second” to power two fully loaded passenger trains with two separate connected locomotives for 20 miles simultaneously. Engineers only approved- the utility scale feasibility of the GMax HIPP system. (Note; All other “clean energy” forms and entries were vehemently rejected & found incapable of providing the specific power required within NJT Micro-Grid Project budgetary constraints).
Offshore Data Centers: A New Class of Clean Powered Digital Infrastructure
Each GMax Vessel can host 10,000–50,000 sq ft of offshore data center capacity, cooled by unlimited seawater and powered by a combination of tidal baseload and HIPP stabilized peak power. Desalination units can also be provided as on-board options based on each customer’s compute needs.
Key Capabilities
- Self powered compute— no land grid required
- GPU dense coolingusing natural seawater or desalination options
- Secure offshore isolationfor sensitive workloads
- Modular expansionfrom 10 to 100+ vessels
- Zero land useand no coastal visual impact
Integrated Into the East Coast Deployment Corridor
GMax Data Centers are co-located with our first 12 utility interconnection “launch” proposals, spanning:
- Maine
- Nantucket Island
- Connecticut
- Long Island Sound
- Montauk Point
- Atlantic City
- Cape May
- Cape Hatteras
Across these sites, GMax is developing an aggregate of 1,375 MW of continuous tidal baseload power — with HIPP enabling each data center module to operate independently, even within multi -vessel clusters.
Sell Power When You Don’t Need It
HIPP Enables New Revenue Models for special use customers.
Because HIPP provides instant peak power on demand, utility operators can:
- Run “on demand” utility or emergency workloads at full power
- Store excess tidal energy mechanically when not in use, which enables the option to Sell the “unused electricity”into the open markets
- Reduce both CAPEXand OPEX through clean energy arbitrage strategies
This clean tech deal structure turns into a revenue generating energy asset, not just a cost center for special use, or emergency power needs.

Ideal for Mission Critical & Special Use Projects
The combination of tidal baseload + HIPP peak power makes GMax Data Centers uniquely suited for:
- Defense and national security compute
- Emergency response power hubs
- Low usage or remote location power support
- AI/ML training clusters requiring stable peak loads
- Private offshore compute campuses
Each module is self-powered, isolated, and independent, ensuring resilience even if neighboring vessels or coastal grids experience outages.
A New Standard for Clean, Resilient, Offshore Compute
GMax Data Centers combine:
- Continuous tidal baseload power
- HIPP stabilized peak power
- Offshore modular scalability
- Zero land use digital infrastructure
- Energy market revenue optionality
- Sovereign grade security and isolation
This is not an incremental improvement — it is a new category of clean powered digital infrastructure.
